The Disney and Fox deal did not seem to affect the X-Men universe as the company announced three more new releases.

First launched in 2000, X-Men is the origin of the modern superhero universe concept. However, Fox has struggled to find the specific direction and let his mental children be distant opponents. After the success of Logan (2017) and Deadpool (2016), the company began a plan to re-launch the brand with countless works ready to hit theaters.



Both versions of Doctor Doom on the big screen are unsuccessful

In addition to Kit Miller's directorial-directed Tim Miller and Brian Michael Bendis, Fox is developing Doctor Doom, a project co-produced by Noah Hawley, the creator of the hit Legion series. Doctor Doom is one of Marvel's most famous villains. Previously, this character appeared in both Fantastic Four produced by Fox but not commercially successful.

In addition, the well-known cartoonist Brian K. Vaughan has been credited with writing a screenplay for the Silver Surfer. This character was featured in Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Both Doctor Doom and Silver Surfer have a close relationship with Fantastic Four. Following the failure of the film to debut in 2015, Fox seems to be resurrecting this brand rather than returning to Marvel Studios as previously rumored.

Silver Surfer is most likely a reboot project for the Fantastic Four brand

Another equally important project is X-Force, which is about a mutant group that is more violent than X-Men. The group will be featured in Deadpool 2 on May 25th. Private sources for these mutants will shoot in October. Several sources have suggested that Ryan Reynolds and Josh Brolin will also be present, as both Deadpool and Cable are members of the comic book group. X-Force is expected to follow the R label by inherent violence.
